Rumors are rife that comedian cum radio presenter Professor Hamo was fired from Hot 96 radio station.
Well, the Englishman said that there’s no smoke without fire. Because even though Hamo has not cleared the air yet, it is evident that he is no longer part of the Royal Media Services-owned radio station.
Herman Gakobo popularly known as Professor Hamo joined Hot 96 in September 2018.
At that time he replaced Jalangoo who had moved to a different radio station.
He has been hosting the breakfast show alongside veteran presenter Jeff Koinange.
So rumors have it that Hamo was fired a week ago. And that was after his story of being a deadbeat dad went viral. See article.
However, other reports suggest that he left the station for different reasons. A case of indiscipline that saw him walking out never to return or even pick calls.
Confirming the rumors, Jeff Koinange introduced a new hashtag for the popular breakfast show. #jeffandclyde.Koinange will therefore be hosting the show alongside DJ Clyde who is also the deputy Station Manager at Hot96.
