Tanzanian singer Benpol has finally shed light on his divorce from his Kenyan wife Anerlisa Muigai.
It was earlier rumored that Benpol had filed for divorce. But nothing much has been said yet. Well, other than Anerlisa claiming that she already signed the papers and wishes not to be associated with no one. See article.
Benpol on the other hand has been silent about the issue. And honestly speaking, it is hard to know if this two are chasing clout for a new song or the really have broken up.
But from a post seen on Benpol’s Instagram page, he has made it clear that the divorce proceedings are ongoing.
At this time, Benpol would like to confirm that divorce proceedings are in progress at the primary court. But have not yet been finalised.

The singer stated that the proceedings are a very private matter. And he would not discuss details about it out of respect for both parties involved.
He, however, asked that his fans grant homepage and privacy during these challenging times.
He kindly asks that space and privacy be given to him and his family during these challenging times.
