Amira, Jimal’s first legal wife, has adamantly refused to take a stand on the situation of their marriage. This was after her womanizer husband Jimal Rohosafi took to Instagram to post a long-ass apology to her for the way he humiliated her before.
Jimal rose to fame early last year when he began dating socialite mother of one Amber Ray. The two were serving couple goals on Instagram. And Jimal even publicly declared that she was his legally second wife.
The humiliation
During their highly publicized and dramatic relationship, the two humiliated and embarrassed Amira in more than one way.
In one instance, Amber went live insulting Amira after they had an altercation where Amber claimed she had found a dead bird outside her house. Amber was heard calling Amira all sorts of names as well as body shaming her.
It was during that time that Amber adopted a self-proclaimed new title ‘president of the second wives.’
Anyway, as expected of Amber, their relationship went up in flames sooner than expected. And Amber moved on swiftly to a Sierra Leonean man who she would later drop like it’s hot.
Jimal Rohosafi in an attempt to move on, has been seen hanging out with his voluptuous employee whom he claims is his best friend.
Jimal apologizes
Last weekend, Jimal took to Instagram to issue a public apology to Amira with whom they have two children.
The chairman of the matatu association admitted to having wronged and hurt his wife really bad. And was seeking forgiveness for all the disrespect and embarrassment and trauma.
Most of you, if not all, know what happened between me and my wife and how we came to the limelight; To say the least, it was chaos! It was messy! It was downright ugly! I may have seemed unbothered, but I was helpless,” he wrote.
“I knew it was wrong, I knew you were hurting. But I just couldn’t get myself together! Amira, I am doing this because the disrespect was also as loud. I apologize for all the disrespect, for all the embarrassment, for all the hurt, for all the pain, for all the trauma.”
Amira responds
Amira took two days to respond but still said nothing substantial.
Taking to her Instagram she noted that she was only responding because her fans were restless and eagerly waiting to hear from her. “Since y’all been restless tagging me left right & center. Here is my response.
She claimed that the apology had theoen her back to a really dark place. And she had been reflecting on everything that happened both publicly and privately. She however did not state whether she had accepted the apology or not.
That apology has taken me back to one of the darkest places I have ever been in my life because I have reflected on so much that happened in public and behind closed doors and it has triggered a lot of emotions,” she wrote.
Amira added that she would seek grace from Allah since the wounds were still fresh.
“It’s heavy, can’t comprehend right now but I ask Allah to give me grace. Some wounds just don’t heal, you have to learn how to live with them.”
