Distinguished Bongo singer Ali Kiba publicly claimed his estranged wife Amina, amid divorce rumors.
Rumors have been rife that the singer and his wife Amina Khalef had broken up.
This was after Amina reportedly went to a Kadhi court to dissolve their marriage. She cited neglect and emotional abuse as the main reasons she wanted nothing to do with the singer. She was thereby demanding monthly upkeep of 200,000 Kenya shillings. See article
In a video seen on TZs top gossip page Jay Maudaku, Ali Kiba is seen adamantly refuting divorce claims.
One reporter demanded to know how things were between Kiba and Amina. “Recently we heard of the drama between you and your wife and it was reported that your wife went to court with lots of stories behind it saying that you two reconciled, how are things between you two?” asked the reporter.
Kiba was listening attentively like a good boy you would think he would issue a good answer. However, he retorted to the reporters. “You all have the energy to know about people’s marriages, that is my wife, did I ask you about your wife? That’s a very personal matter, she is my wife, ni mke wangu,” he said as he walked away.
