The holiday season has taken a somber turn for popular actor Abel Mutua and his family as they grapple with the untimely passing of his younger brother nicknamed Rapho, 23. The actor shared the sad news via a poignant social media post.
“In this truck lies the lifeless body of a once vibrant young man whose life has been tragically cut short at the tender age of 23. Rest in Peace my brother. We tried our best but I guess our best wasn’t good enough. Round 2 Brathe.(Brother)”

Abel Mutua’s Brother Passes on

Abel Mutua‘s other brother Jesse Mwethuku alias lukubaridii also shared the heart-wrenching news along with a rare nostalgic photo capturing the three brothers in a cherished moment. In the picture, the stylist revealed that Rapho, forever 23, was only a day old.

You were not a photo kind of guy. So this the only photo I have of us 3 gangstas. Ukiwa one day old (When you were a day old).
The fashionista stated.

Abel Mutua’s brother Jesse shared how happy he was at the youngest brother’s birth. Especially as they would share life’s escapades together. His hopes were tragically dashed by his brother passing on at only 23.
“Nilikuwa nime nice mbaya coz nlikua najua tutasumbua wamama mbaya tukiwa Miaka sabini, sikujua utaondokea race at 23. (I was happy because I knew we would disturb the ladies even when we were 70. I did not know that you would leave the race at 23.)”
Lukubaridii expressed.
“Till we Meet Again”

Jesse, who is also the official stylist for Abel Mutua expressed disbelief at the sudden departure of his brother. He expressed “Siamini Rapho umeondokea sembe na warembo rahisi hivyo… Leo lap tumepiga imekua biashara moja haina matunda hata kidogo. Buh ndio hivyo. Till we meet again G.”
Which loosely translates to “I cannot believe how easily Rapho left us. And good food and beautiful ladies. Today has been unfruitful. But that is how it is. Till we meet again G”

The poignant announcement invites reflection on the fragility of life and the importance of cherishing every moment with those we hold dear.
