The Green Calabash couple, Shiko and Rama have confirmed the rumored breakup.
If you are not familiar with the two, they are the couple that was making headlines in 2019 after giving birth live on YouTube. The two decided to undergo the childbirth process by themselves since their midwife was unavailable. The two were even featured on BBC after the incident.
Rumors have been rife that the popular couple had broken up. Since they deleted all their YouTube videos and their joint YouTube channel as well.
Shiko also went ahead and pulled down all the pictures that her husband appeared in. And on January 16th, she shared a picture of herself and the kids only wishing her fans a happy new year. She also wrote a cryptic caption leaving their fans wondering what she meant.
Proof of life 😅. All this silence will make sense later on but for now, happy new year from me and the kiddies! She wrote.
Taking to her Instagram page, Shiko announced that she was traveling back to Nairobi to her apartment. She shared a list of the things she missed about Nairobi in a video.
I miss the Nairobi cold and wearing fuzzy socks, I’m looking for ways to be cozy. I want to be close to my friends and family… I’m looking forward to decorating my apartment, and eat Naironi food…

Fans have been reaching out to the couple seeking tea. But Rama has not minced his words when responding to them. One fan told him that we are ready for the tea. To which Rama responded; you will wait until clouds turn into Cotton Candy. We have kids to protect not adults to entertain. Thanks.

Taking to Instagram, Rama has confirmed the break up in a series of posts seen on his Instagram stories.
Rama has warned fans from building narratives around him because they feel they need to pick sides.
Please don’t build a narrative around me because you feel the need to pick sides in a situation no one is forcing you to pick sides. To adults sat down and figured there is nowhere in the world people would sacrifice individual ambition and leave for emotional security as a couple.
I was brought here by God’s glory so I have to stay and make some bank for my kids. I’m already an investor these sides… he added.
Shiko is still my Baby mama. So I won’t allow her to be disrespected. We have kids to protect not adults to entertain. I wish her all the best on her way back to Nai.
Rama went ahead to add that he can honestly say that he did his best.
You never feel bad or upset when you can look in the mirror and honestly say you did your best.
He also proceeded to say that growth is inevitable. Anyways, we are caterpillars and the time to turn into butterflies has come. You can not love other people as they are until you love yourself as you are.
