WILLIS AYIEKO LINKED TO SH94M WELLS FARGO HEIST AS AUTOPSY REVEALS CAUSE OF DEATH

Willis Ayieko, the Human Resource Manager at Wells Fargo, was at the heart of a major investigation into a high-profile heist involving Sh94 million, before his untimely death. In November 2023, this money, intended for Quickmart Supermarket, was supposed to be securely transported to Family Bank.

But along the way, the money was stolen. And Ayieko’s involvement in the case tragically ended when his body was discovered in the Mungowere stream in Yala, Siaya County, on October 23, after being missing for five days.

Before he disappeared, Willis Ayieko attended a funeral in Gem and planned to return to Kakamega for a family gathering. When he didn’t arrive home, his family grew worried and searched for him. They found his abandoned Ford Ranger at a petrol station in Sabatia, Vihiga County.

Authorities discovered his body handcuffed and showing signs of severe trauma, which raised alarms. Police launched an investigation, with Siaya Sub-County Police Commander Charles Wafula confirming that inquiries are ongoing to determine the circumstances of his death.

CCTV footage captured two men parking Ayieko’s vehicle before fleeing the scene.

An autopsy conducted by Chief Government Pathologist Dr. Johansen Oduor confirmed that Ayieko died from severe head injuries. And that he sustained bruises on his head and bleeding in his brain.

Disturbingly, the examination revealed that Ayieko was missing several body parts, including tissue around his lips, ears, cheeks, and chest.

The presence of handcuff marks on his wrists and extensive bruising suggested that his murder was premeditated. And that it was a planned and targeted killing rather than a random act of violence.

Was Willis Ayieko Interested in Politics?

Ayieko’s life raises several important points. He was considered for a running mate position in a local political campaign and invited to become Deputy Governor.

Despite offers to enter politics, he focused on charitable work instead. Known for his kindness, Ayieko helped many in his community with school fees and other needs.

His sudden death shocked many, including Siaya Governor James Orengo, who called him “a great son of Siaya and a Kenyan patriot.”

Friends described him as a devoted family man, leaving behind his wife, Esther, and their three children.

As the investigation into his murder continues, Ayieko’s family and friends demand justice, hoping that the truth behind his death and the heist will ultimately be revealed.
