Former Tahidi High actress Miss Morgan, real name Angel Waruinge, has opened up about the struggles she has faced in her personal life.
The actress, remembered for her tough role as a no-nonsense teacher on TV, shared that her real life has been anything but easy.
Deadbeat Baby Daddy
Miss Morgan says she and her baby daddy were in love when she discovered she was pregnant. At eight weeks, after seeing the scan and hearing the baby’s heartbeat, she called him to share the news.
Though they lived separately. he responded positively, and she felt supported.
However, on her due date, he vanished completely.
She went into labor without him by her side. For months she received no word. Then one day, she got a phone call from a new number. He showed up the next day, but the damage was done. Now, nine years later, she’s still raising their daughter alone.
Legal efforts to make him support their child failed. Miss Morgan says he told her plainly:
“I am not going to take care of a child who isn’t in my house.”
And that’s remained true ever since.

Miss Morgan revealed she’s turned down three marriage proposals.
She explained that men often fell for “Miss Morgan,” her TV persona, and not her real self, Angel Waruinge.
“Before you judge me… are you marrying Angel Waruinge, or are you marrying Miss Morgan? That’s a mistake,” she said.
She added:
“If a partner wants the power of your identity, that’s when there’s a problem.”
Around the time of the COVID-19 pandemic, Miss Morgan lost her job.
The blow sent her into deep depression. She turned to alcohol as a way to cope. What started as a distraction turned into an addiction and she in turn lost so much weight.
At her lowest, she suffered from depression and considered ending her life.
She credits her mother’s unconditional love and support with helping her get back on track.
