SAUTI SOL ANNOUNCES THAT MEMBERS WILL BE FOCUSING ON SOLO PROJECTS TILL MAY

Celebrated boyband Sauti Sol has announced the next phase of their career which will have each member pursuing solo projects until May 2022.

So the band is currently on tour in the UK.

In a statement issued on Thursday 8th October the the band revealed that the tour is the beginning of their journey being Alone Together.

This tour is the beginning of our journey being “Alone-Together.” It is a wonderful journey in which we are self- actualising by showcasing our personal strengths and characters as the artists who came together to form Sauti Sol.Alone-Together” is the mantra we formed to define the unique next chapter as brothers. It ties with our natural progression of self-growth, while still being a single unit, read the letter in part.

In the open letter addressed to their fans, Sauti Sol said Alone Together was inspired by the pandemic. And it is an opportunity for each one of them to showcase their uniqueness and who the individual artists are- four great parts that make one iconic whole.

Alone Together is a child of the pandemic. The result of deep reflections that we experienced as individuals and as a group, leading us to craft the ultimate expansion of our musical and artistic legacies. Thus each of us shall enter into our alone phase with a single release by December 2021. This shall be followed by release of full projects whose dates shall be announced in due time

As a result, Bien who prefer referring to himself as the African King of Bald Men will kick off this phase with his first solo project featuring Aaron Rimbui dubbed Bald men Anthem.

The African King of Bald Men, Bien-Aime, shall kick off with his first solo single, a collaborative track between him and Jazz Maestro Aaron Rimbui aptly titled the “Bald Man Anthem” set to be released on Friday 8th October. This date will also mark the inception of Bien, Chimano, Savara and Polycarp’s individual journeys as entertainers.

Polycarp also known as Fancy Fingers will follow up with Father Studies, Chimano with Heavy is the Crown and Savara with Savage Level.

Bald Man Love Better collaborative project between Bien and Aaron Rimbui, Father Studies by Fancy Fingers, Heavy Is The Crown by Chimano and Savage Level by Savara, will all be released on Exodus Entertainment /Sol Generation and distributed by Ingrooves

So the projects will be released in due time by December 2021.

The band will however release their next group project in May 2022.
