SANDRA DACHA SHARES AN UPDATE OF AKUKU DANGER’s HEALTH

Churchill show comedian Akuku Danger was recently admitted to the Intensive Care Unit at Nairobi West Hospital after one of his lungs collapsed.

Akuku was reportedly born with sickle-cell anemia. And has been ailing for the better part of his life.

As a result, fellow comedians and celebrities have been raising awareness of his hospitalization. And fundraising for his skyrocketing medical bill.

Mwalimu Churchill on Sunday dedicated the New Year’s Eve show to Akuku. As he also fund-raised for the same.

Churchill also revealed that Akuku has always been in and out of the hospital.

Akuku Danger was born with Sickle Cell Anemia and it keeps coming and going. That’s cancer of the blood and he is always in and out of the hospital. Being able to come here and entertain you is what has kept him going. Imagine being told you have a year to live. Do you know how depressing that is? But he keeps going. The thing with the disease is that when it hits, it hits very hard…”He said in part.

Akuku is getting better!

Popular actress Sandra Dacha who is Akuku’s close friend has constantly been updating his fans on his progress.

Taking to her Instagram stories Sandra announced that Akuku is doing better. Since he’s finally eating and talking. And that the lungs are slowly coming back to life.

Akuku Danger has finally asked for food, Halleluyah! Njaa sio kitu mzuri (hunger is not a good thing). He has also started talking but not much because he is still very weak. He is still on moderate oxygen as he can’t breathe on his own,” Sandra shared. 

Sandra added that the hospital bill is still rising. And they are currently at 1.5 Million. Thus Kenyans should not tire from helping.

The actress also shared that his brain is okay as he can easily remember things.
