Bonnie Musambi in an Instagram post disclosed that he is among other people who have tested positive for the virus.
Various Kenyan celebrities and media personalities have also shared their experiences in the recent past.
Bonnie Musambi had initially posted a photo of him getting tested for covid 19. “I did it for myself and my loved ones, ” read his caption in part. Bonnie went ahead to encourage other Kenyans to get tested as well. “Do it today!”
In his recent post, Bonnie Musambi shared that he tested positive three weeks ago but went into isolation. And also indicated that his family is fine.
It is done, now I can reveal.he wrote
I tested positive for Covid-19 but now am healed.
I got the disease more than three weeks ago but tested after defeating the symptoms. However I isolated myself, followed my doctor’s instructions and now am well. My family is well and am glad to be back on my feet.
The radio presenter also clarified that he would be taking another test later in the week. So that he can resume work corona-free.
I will be taking a re-test later this week and will post the results.
In his statement, Bonnie Musambi insinuated that an ambulance went to pick him but he declined. But he advised Kenyans to do all they can to avoid the virus
“At some point, an ambulance came for me but I declined.
Covid-19 is real. Do everything to avoid it.
All Glory to God! I will live for him.” Said Bonnie.
Other media personalities who have revealed that they tested positive for the virus include, Robert Burale, Jeff Koinange and Stephen Letoo of Citizen tv.
