Abel Mutua and director Philip Karanja have left Kenyans in stitches after taking to the streets to implore Kenyans to buy the link to their film dubbed The Grand Little Lie.

The duo have been in the acting industry for over a decade.

Abel who was an actor at Tahidi High is beside himself with joy after dropping his first-ever film. And Kenyans are indeed very happy as well.

Mutua popularly known as Mkurugenzi had been hinting to his fans on YouTube that he would be a part of a great movie.

The film was finally launched in style with on Friday, 1st October at the Nairobi cinema.

So on Thursday 7th October the duo and their director were seen holding placards in the streets begging Keep and to purchase the link to the movie.

The placards easily catch ones attention as they have a special and hilarious message on them ‘please buy our film. Inaongeza urembo na nguvu za kiume’

Abel in a post seen on his Instagram page also added that they need to sell at least 50,000 links to be able to produce the next film under their production company.

Today is the day we’re dropping this film. We need to sell 50,000 links to enable us produce the next one. #PhilmAmbassadors tunaomba mtusaidie.

Phil also shared a picture of himself carrying the placard. And alerted his fans that they would meet him in the streets.
