Kenyan R&B star Otile Brown recently gave props to bootylicious socialite Vera Sidika for her role in boosting his music career. The two briefly dated for less than a year and broke up in 2018.

In an interview with Oga Obinna, Otile acknowledged Vera’s influence during their relationship, saying, “Vera Sidika boosted my career. I was big, but after she came into my life, she expanded it. I will always give her, her flowers. It is only right.”

The ‘Nabayet’ hitmaker admitted that while he was a big deal in the music scene, Vera Sidika elevated his career as she was a well-known socialite. He said, “I was big but not all the way. Being that she was a popping socialite at the time, it kinda fueled.”

Otile Brown even wrote Vera Sidika a song titled ‘Baby Love’ and featured her as the video vixen.

When asked whether he still harbors any romantic feelings for Vera Sidika, Otile Brown declined to answer. He only said, “I think she is an amazing person.”

It seems that Otile Brown’s intention of bringing up his ex’s name was to “Give people props at the end of the day.”

Otile Brown further shared that Vera Sidika is the one who first contacted him before they first got together. Apparently, Vera Sidika was his fan, and she used to buzz him persistently.

“I did not meet her. She was constantly looking for me. And she used to really buzz me a lot. It is all love. I think she is an amazing person. Actually, Nori is the one who told me to listen to her,”

He said.

Otile Brown recalls that when he was shooting a music video, Vera Sidika invited him to her house, where he had an amazing experience. He cited, “When I was shooting ‘Chaguo La Moyo,’ she was buzzing my phone crazy. When I picked up, she was like, pull up. I was like where; she said come to my spot, and it was amazing.”

The RnB artist clarified that he was not chasing clout by opening up on his and Vera Sidika’s relationship, saying, “I’m not a kiki person. I am an introvert, and so I don’t shout too much because I believe in my craft because I know who I am. Whatever was happening at that time, it was organically bro, it was just happening.”
