Robert Wanjala father of the late confessed serial Killer has apologized to families of his son’s victims.
Wanjala was speaking to journalists at his home in Mukhweya in Bungoma county after his son was killed by an angry mob.
His son, Masten Wanjala, had been making headlines since he confessed to having killed 13 minors. And later escaped from prison early this week under unknown circumstances. Masten was set to appear before a Nairobi Court this week to answer murder charges.
So Robert apologized to all families that were victims of his son’s malicious actions. And said that he had left everything to God.
I want to apologize to the families of my son’s victims on his behalf. I know it was not his liking to commit these heinous acts. But, unfortunately, some people took him away from us and forced him into a cult at a very young age while staying in Ukambani
Wanjala went ahead to implore the government to help him bury his son.
The government should at least support me to have my son accorded a decent sendoff. I am also appealing to the government to give us direction because there is little we can do as a family
he explained.
The sad man also said that upon receiving news of his son’s untimely death, he was too overwhelmed to go to the scene.

The old man also blamed his ex-wife for his son’s fate. So he said that when his son was being taken home by detectives, he(Masten) told him that his mother had introduced him into it.
