Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu set the record straight, emphasizing that singer Samidoh, who is younger than her, is not her ‘ben ten.’ The term refers to a younger man in a relationship with an older woman, where he depends on her financially. Samidoh and Karen Nyamu have been in a relationship since 2019 and share two kids.

“For a ben ten, Is it all about age? No, it is not, Its all about a man’s depending on you. He needs to be younger, of course, but you can have a younger man who is hardworking and earning. Because I have an issue with people mistaking the father of my kids, (Samidoh) to be a Ben 10 and he is not because mimi ndio humkata.”

The mother of three told NRG Radio.

Beyond personal affairs, Nyamu shared her aspirations to be remembered for legislative achievements and societal change. She stated, “I want to change society through motions I bring to the house. We’re working on implementing free secondary education to address the issue of financial barriers,”

Nyamu, an aspiring governor, revealed the seven female governors as her female heroines. She also expressed that her children melt her heart.

Are Karen Nyamu and Samidoh OK?

Recent social media activity has sparked speculation about Nyamu and Samidoh’s relationship. Since Samidoh’s return from a US trip to visit his family, the couple has noticeably refrained from posting pictures together, even when in the same locations.

For instance, after Samidoh returned from the US to visit his first wife Edday Nderitu and their kids, he performed at a Mombasa sports club. Simultaneously, his baby mama, Nyamu, treated her followers to a virtual tour of the same coastal county. Nyamu shared glimpses of her time at a local golf course and her hotel room, but she did not post any picture with Samidoh on social media as is her norm.

The question arises: Is there trouble in paradise, or is external pressure from his first wife Edday Nderitu prompt a shift in their public dynamics?
