Celebrated singer Nameless celebrates E-sir eighteen years after he passed.

The late hamnitishi hitmaker died in a road accident on March 16th, 2003. He was in the company of Nameless as they traveled back to Nairobi from a concert in Nakuru.

E-sir was popularly known for his incredibal lyrical ability and fluency of the Swahili language.

Nameless took to Instagram to share a very emotional message recollecting their last moments together.

I went to visit Esir’s grave with a few close friends and family. Exactly eighteen years ago on that fateful Sunday morning after an amazing show in Nakuru. As we were driving back to Nairobi for another gig, the car list control. And we lost you and Kevin. It still hurts to just remember that moment because it did not make sense.

The celebrated artist went ahead to add that they had just had the best show together. And Esir’s career was just beginning to pick.

We knew we were taking over the industry. And e could feel it! We knew we were synergized as a team. And we were on to something big. Then just like that, you left.

He went ahead to recall how sad and hurt it was to break the news to his mother. Because she had trusted him as a big brother to Esir to take care of each other in the industry.

It was so hard to go meet your mum and tell her I couldn’t save you.

Nameless added that Esir was such a positive influence. And he intends to carry the good vibes with him.

Wahu also shared her side of the story in a very long emotional post. Adding that Nameless’ brother had to identify the body since Nameless was in bad shape too. I remember as I cried for the loss of Esir, I cried for my boyfriend. Because they were really close…We remember you through your music. She wrote.
