DAVIDO RECEIVES OVER 42M KENYA SHILLINGS FROM FANS AHEAD OF HIS BIRTHDAY

Nigerian artist David Adeleke popularly known as Davido is making headlines internationally. This was after he asked his fans to send him money ahead of his birthday which is on 21st Nov.

Taking to Twitter Davido wrote: ‘if u say abi give u una hit song send me money’ which loosely translates to- if you say I give you hit songs, send me money.

The singer in a different video said that he wanted to know who his friends are. So if you are his friend send him one million nairas.

Davido created a new bank account and posted his account number to show the seriousness of the matter.

It did not take long before the artist began sharing screenshots of his bank account which was fattening in seconds.

In about an hour Davido had raised slightly over 40 million nairas.

The singer who began making music in 2010 has wowed many by his ability to get that much money jokingly. Some of his fans reacting to the whole ordeal have described him as a very humble person. And as a result, he deserves it all.

The singer received money from other celebrities, including BB Naija’s Nengi, Perruzi, Teni, Adekunle Gold, Mr Eazi, Zlatan, Cubana Chief Priest and Chike, to mention a few.

He also received money from Oyo State House of Representatives member Akin Alabi, businessman and socialite, Emeka Okonkwo aka E-money and Obinna Iyiegbu aka Obi Cubana. See some screenshots.

This singer at the time of publishing this article has raised over 155 million nairas which is slightly over 40 million Kenyan shillings. See screenshot
