DADDY OWEN SET TO LOSE HIS INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT

Gospel singer Daddy Owen is set to bid farewell to his Instagram account. The singer received a severe warning after his numerous posts propagating hate towards the LGBTQ community were reported.

Daddy Owen has for the last few days gone on an uphill battle of preaching that the LGBTQ should not be ‘allowed’ in Kenya. This was hours after the Supreme Court allowed the LGBTQ community to register their associations. See article.

Taking to his Instagram account the singer called out the Supreme Court for the ruling.

LGBTQ should not be allowed in Kenya! The courts are here to serve and protect our culture, society, and customs. If the NGOs are allowed to register in Kenya, then we should allow outlawed groups such as bandits and terrorists to be registered.” He wrote.

For the last few days, the divorcee has continuously laid serious claims about the LGBTQ community. He claimed that he was receiving threats of being denied a Visa to the US due to his posts.

He also claimed that the community planned to visit schools to preach about LGBTQ to children.

I have even been sent a secret document. The plot is to enter schools to say it is about counseling and training in mental health. And we have seen that agenda from a distance, it will not be accepted.

He wrote in part.

Instagram account

Taking to his Instagram page, the singer shared a screenshot of him being warned that he might lose his Instagram account. This means that his page will not be found on Instagram if one searches for it.

Acting unbothered even though he is hurt, Owen claimed that it is clear he is fighting against evil forces. But he is ready.

“We preached the gospel without Instagram and we reached millions. We will do it again, we shall not relent!” he wrote. Adding that ‘hatutakubali mashoga na wasagaji’ which translates to ‘we won’t allow gays and lesbians’.
