In the hard-to-watch video, the rapper first collapses on stage. Then gets up and continues rapping. Only to fall off the stage, where he gets medical attention.
The tragedy has shaken up the South African music community. The motive of death has not yet been determined. His death follows that of fellow artist AKA, who died after being shot on February 10th in Durban.
Costa Titch’s death was confirmed by his family
Taking to his social media pages, the family announced the untimely passing of Costa.
Costa Titch’s family provided a heartfelt statement to the rapper’s fans through his social media accounts.
“It is with deep pain that we find ourselves having to acknowledge his passing at this time,” they wrote on IG.
