Starehe MP Charles Njagua, alias Jaguar underwent knee surgery on Monday 28th June.
A video of the member of Parliament being wheeled to the hospital accompanied by gospel singer DK Kwenyebeat has been doing rounds on social media since morning.
It was still unclear why Jaguar was being taken to hospital.
But DK later explained that the MP has been experiencing pains on his left foot from a 2019 incident. Reports indicate that the pain has been recurring recently.
So during the incident, policemen conducted an operation to remove traders who had overstepped on the road. Jaguar had been addressing the traders. But he got injured while trying to run away from the teargas.
His friends, followers, and fans have outpoured messages of comfort to him wishing him a speedy recovery.
