ODM party leader Raila Odinga tested positive for covid 19 on Thursday this week after he checked in to Nairobi hospital for a routine test.
In a personal statement, the party leader mentioned that he feels strong and in good shape. But he has agreed to take the mandatory quarantine.
Raila had visited Mombasa recently. And interacted with the civilians as well as various politicians.
Kenyans have taken to wish Baba a quick recovery.
Raila is too important
Aspiring politician Mohamed Alinur was not left behind in offering his quick recovery message to Raila.
So in a post seen on both his Facebook and Twitter pages, Alinur took to rant about the recklessness of the health system.
Our recklessness in handling COVID-19 has led to Raila Odinga testing positive for the virus. Baba is too important for this nation. Doctors and nurses at the hospital where he has been admitted must prioritize his health and do everything possible to restore it.
Alinur went ahead to emphasize that Raila is very important to this nation. And should anything happen to him, the doctors and nurses will be held responsible.
As if that is not ludicrous enough the aspiring politician added that the country should go on lockdown until Odinga recovers fully.
