Tanzanian singer Benpol revealed that he did not enjoy his marriage to Kenyan socialite Anerlisa Muigai something that has not sat well with her.
Benpol and Anerlisa had dated for a couple of years before getting married secretly.
Their marriage, however, went up in flames after a few months.
Speaking in an interview with veteran blogger Millard Ayo, the singer said that their marriage was pretty much for showbiz. So instead of enjoying the real benefits of the marriage, his one ex-wife Anerlisa preferred to show off for likes.
‘To be honest, I didn’t enjoy the marriage. The plans to have kids and grow together, as I see with other couples, were not there.’ he said.
Benpol however disclosed that he made more money and got endorsements during their relationship. But he also felt like Anerlisa was using him.
‘I feel like I got into the picture to bring perfection’ he said.
The singer also made it clear that Anerlisa had invested her feelings and love in the relationship before it crumbled down. Ben also made it clear that their marriage did not end because of infidelity issues. And hinted that he still has feelings for her.

Taking to her Instagram stories, the voluptuous lass who recently turned 35 called out her ex-husband.
Muigai claims that Benpol could always ignore questions about their relationship. But he always chooses to talk and make her look bad. ‘You have taken my silence for weakness!’ she said.
Aberlisa wondered why her ex-husband makes her look bad yet send her different messages from what he says.
