A key suspect in the brutal murder of Willis Ayieko, the former human resource manager at Wells Fargo, was allegedly paid KSh 5,000 for providing the location where Ayieko was abducted and killed.
Ayieko was kidnapped after attending a funeral vigil in Siaya. At the time, he was investigating the KSh 94 million Quickmart Supermarket heist.
A TV47 investigation has revealed that several individuals played different roles in the abduction and murder.

Willis Ayieko was held captive for several days, during which his captors tortured him.
Witnesses reported hearing Ayieko’s cries for help, but the attackers told them the sounds came from a drunken friend.
They withdrew over KSh 1.2 million from his bank and M-Pesa accounts before killing him.

His body was later found in River Nyamboga, showing signs of severe abuse, including head injuries from blunt force trauma.
