Detectives in Kericho are searching for a teenage boy who attacked and killed his father for allegedly selling his chicken.
In a thread seeing on DCI’s Twitter account, it is said that the boy had confronted his father about the whereabouts of his six chicken that he suspected his father had sold.
The father was angered by the altercation. And thereby threatened to shoot his son with arrows.
As a result, the boy ran for his dear life and sort refuge at a neighbors house. He, however, went back home the following day armed with a club.
The agitated son swore to stop at nothing till his father produced his chicken. His 50-year-old father could not not produce them.
And thus the fellow began beating his father with the weapon repeatedly. He stroked him severally on the head whilst demanding compensation for his chicken.
Neighbors rushed to rescue the old man who is said to succumb to injuries while undergoing treatment at Londiani Sub-county hospital.
The teenager is said to have run into hiding after the occurrence . And detectives are still trying to hunt him down.
