Reason behind the Resignation

Willis Raburu’s reason to step down was more professional than personal. He believed the Nairobi County Government needed major changes in leadership and service delivery. By resigning, Raburu aimed to highlight the need for improvement.

“However, this decision is driven by a recognition of the pressing need for systemic change to enhance the effectiveness of our service delivery and leadership. It’s clear that to better serve the county and its residents, a more comprehensive look at existing systems is essential, which to be fair, have already been instituted and I wish them all the best in this regard,” He stated

The father of two, however, expressed his support for the community, albeit in a different position.

“I remain dedicated to supporting the county from a different vantage point and will continue working towards the betterment of our community,”
