Former Kenya National Union of Teachers Secretary-General (Knut) Wilson Sossion has refuted claims that he has ditched the ODM party.

Earlier today, 26th August, rumors were rife that the nominated MP has dumped the ODM party. And that he was joining the UDA party to vie for the Bomet Senatorial seat.

Sossion recently resigned as the KNUT chairman. He made the announcement on 25th June in a very emotional press conference.

Wilson was seen crying as he bid farewell to the seat he had sat on for eight years. And he explained that he had been frustrated by the government’s failure to support his leadership. He, however, revealed that he was resigning to focus on politics. See article here.

Sossion crying as he left KNUT

Sossion has been trending on Twitter with the public congratulating him for switching parties. Even though there has been no evidence that he actually ditched ODM.

After so much speculation about the issue, Wilson has finally cleared the air.

In a tweet seen by BNN on Twitter, Sossion disregarded the reports as inaccurate propaganda and lies. Adding that he is still a very very loyal member of ODM. And yes, he stressed on the very!

The fact that I shall gun Bomet senate seat in the next elections does not mean I have left ODM. I am a very very loyal member of ODM. Treat other reports as inaccurate propaganda and lies!

Sossion will be running against Wakili Hillary Sigei and Christopher Langat in Bomet senatorial seat.
