New details have emerged in the case of Willis Ayieko, a Wells Fargo Human Resource Manager who was found dead after going missing on October 18, 2024.
CCTV footage now shows two unidentified men abandoning Willis Ayieko’s vehicle, an orange Ford pickup truck, in Sabatia, Vihiga County, raising new questions about the circumstances of his death.

Willis Ayieko Disappearance
Ayieko disappeared after attending a funeral in Gem, Siaya County. Days later, on October 19, CCTV footage captured his double-cabin Ford pick-up being driven into a petrol station in Sabatia, over 385 kilometers away from Gem.
The footage shows the two men sitting in the vehicle for about five minutes before walking away. One of them was seen carrying two bags as they left the scene.
The following day, Ayieko’s body was found in the Mungowere stream in Yala, Siaya County on October 23 at 2 pm.
A relative confirmed the grim discovery, stating that Ayieko was found face down, with his hands handcuffed behind his back, and without trousers.
Willis Ayieko endured severe torture before his death. His eyes were gouged out, his ears were cut off, and his stomach was brutally injured.
His body also showed signs of being dragged across a rough surface, indicating the extent of the physical abuse he suffered.
The killers stole Ayieko’s pistol, as he was a licensed gun holder. When his body was discovered, the gun, which had 14 rounds of ammunition, was missing.
The investigation into Ayieko’s disappearance and death is ongoing, and more details are expected to emerge as the police review evidence and pursue leads.
