YouTuber Nicholas Kioko and Ashley Wambo Wambui recently announced they are pregnant again though beautiful family photos. Looking at the glowing Wambo in the pictures, you wouldn’t guess that behind the smiles, she endured a very tough first trimester.

In a heartfelt confession, Wambo shared that they found out she was pregnant at eight weeks, but waited for the doctor’s confirmation before celebrating. The news brought joy, but the happiness was quickly overshadowed by intense pregnancy symptoms.
Wambo revealed that hyperemesis gravidarum, a severe form of morning sickness, made her first trimester unbearable. She spent most of her days in bed, drained physically and emotionally. Vomiting became a daily struggle, and she lost over 10 kilograms.
Her twins had just joined school, and she admitted to battling guilt for not being present for them. “They would come to my bedroom after school and find me not okay,” she said, describing how heartbreaking it was to feel disconnected from her children.
Beyond the sickness, Wambo also faced other changes.
Her skin turned pale and brown, her lips cracked, and her hair began falling out.
“I was broken mentally and physically. Nothing was making sense,” she confessed.

Despite the struggles, her husband Nicholas stood by her side. He encouraged her, took care of their home, and kept her spirits alive. “Through everything, he was there. He kept everything running well,” Wambo said with gratitude.
Now at a better stage of her pregnancy, Wambo says she feels stronger and happier. She is proud to call herself the “sexiest pregnant mom” as her family continues to grow.
