Religious couple the Wajesus family in an attempt to remain relevant faked a whole car surprise gift. And even shot an entire video for the same.
On Wednesday, the couple on their separate social media accounts shared snippets of the video. A quick check in the video and Kabi is seen gifting his wife Milly a Land Rover Discovery.
The two had constantly announced that there would be a big reveal on their Youtube page, for their diehard fans.
In the video, Kabi disclosed that he had planned to present his wife with a total of seven gifts following the birth of their daughter. He showed the car to her. And Milly as the actor she is, cried crocodile tears while hugging her husband thanking him.
It’s a lie!
A hawkeyed BNN fan noticed that the surprise gift was not really a surprise. But merely just another way for the Wajesus to get people talking about them.
Typically, the Wajesus and Bahati families are well known for their hot air car gifts. So this was not really a surprise to many. And that’s why it was under scrutiny.
Speaking exclusively to the tea master, Edgar Obare, the fan revealed that the couple had already been using the land rover for several months.
‘For some time now, you could tell they have a new car. Because the Audi sears were brownish in color,’ said the fan. The seats of the new car were however different from the audi but similar to the land rover’s.
Based on the video shared by the couple, the interior of the car is still the same as seen is previous videos. Which only means that the car is nothing near new. And neither was it a surprise. So why would they fake a whole event? And Milly faking tears?
