UGANDAN WOMAN MYSTERIOUSLY LOSES KIDNEY IN SAUDI ARABIA

The kidney of a Ugandan woman was reportedly ‘stolen’ under unclear circumstances while she worked in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

This came after the 38-year-old Judith Nakintu had been employed by Nile Treasure Gate Company, based in Kiwatule Uganda, as a housemaid to work in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Judith Nakintu, a single mother of five, always looked for means of looking after her children after separating from her husband. She flew to Jeddah on December 12, 2019.

However, after two months on the job, according to the first information the family obtained, she was involved in an accident, although no more details were given.

Her younger brother reported that at first, she was communicating with her family until she went silent.

They later received information about her condition on March 17, 2020, that she was in critical condition. They tried to seek more information from her boss who informed them about the accident. And when they asked him to send them photographs of her, he blocked them.

So they used different phone contacts to call him, but he declined to speak to anyone.

Nakintu before the ordeal

There was no information about Nakintu’s condition, until October 30, last year, when they received a call from the company that Nakintu would land at Entebbe International Airport.

They also got information that during the 18 months of her ill health, her boss had rented a warehouse where he kept her. And that she was being looked after by another Ugandan woman, only identified as Janifer.

Upon arriving to Uganda,  she was taken to Mulago National Referral Hospital for a medical check-up. It was at Mulago that they family learned that she underwent a ‘mysterious surgery’ while in Jeddah and that her right kidney was missing.

Her brother said that when they met her, her left side was paralysed and she could not speak well. But she recognised them. It was further alleged that there were medical letters from Jeddah explaining her condition and they appeared fishy.

Nakintu’s medical documents from Saudi Arabia indicated she was involved in a motor accident and sustained a kidney rupture. However, Nakintu’s relatives accused Nile Treasure Gate, a labor export company, of conspiring with medics in Saudi Arabia to illegally remove her kidney and disguise the incident as a road accident.

Police surgeons have now confirmed that Nakintu mysterious lost her kidney in a deliberate operation with no signs that she was involved in an accident.

In an interview, Nakintu said she was taken to the hospital by her boss who claimed she was to get vaccinated for COVID-19. She got injected there and lost consciousness which she later regained after some time.

The single mother said she doesn’t know what happened to her but she noticed she had some unexplained scars on her abdominal area.

There is a concern about an existing and increasing black market for human organs and organ trafficking, including human kidneys. Nakintu’s case is one of the many that goes unreported.
What do you think should be done to avoid more people falling prey of the cunning middle east cannibals?
