Tanzanian’s have begun a fundraiser to gift their withdrawn socialite Wema Sepetu a new car.
Rumors have been rife in our neighboring country that former Miss Tz Wema Sepetu is broke and lives a fake life.
Diamond’s ally Aristote, revealed that the model lives a fake lifestyle on social media. He added that she does not own a car, unlike other celebs. But uses Uber to travel around the country. See post.
A disturbed Wema took to her Instagram page to ask Aristote to keep her name out of his mouth. The beauty claimed that she is not in a competition with anyone in life. She disclosed that she has not had a car for the last two years and life is okay regardless. I’m not in a competition na mtu yoyote in my life… Niko na deal na Wema wangu tu… Sijawahi kushindana na mtu… Always stood on my own… She wrote in part.
Later on, Wema went live on Instagram to justify herself but only ended up sobbing uncontrollably.
In response to her plight, fellow Tanzanian celebrities weighed in on the matter. A good number of them said that was very wrong of the old man who was forced to issue a public apology to Wema.
The fundraiser
Part of the support she has been receiving from her fans has included a fundraiser to get her a new car.
Popular Tanzanian influencer identified as Director Joan took it upon herself to begin the initiative. She claimed that seeing Wema cry on camera touched so many people. And they resulted in calling her our last born. She gave out a number where they could send their contributions.

I would (partake in fundraising) if they were honest about it. She seemed totally fine with her “situation ” prior to the old man butting in.
