Tanzanian singer TID has finally shed light on the circumstances surrounding his viral video titled ‘Who is this guy,’ which has been making rounds for weeks.
TID explained that during an interview, he was interrupted by a bodaboda rider passing by, which prompted his reaction in the video.
In the viral clip, TID can be heard saying, “Huyu nani yeye, who is this guy? Why between my interview you are passing around? I hate you!”
He clarified that the incident was not planned and occurred spontaneously.
“That was a real situation, we were from a radio interview, then another blogger tried to interview me. And you know in life sometimes some coincidences cannot be avoided. Like that incident, someone on a bodaboda interrupting your interview really pissed me off,” TID explained.
Regarding the unexpected trending of the video, TID expressed, “It’s not something I expected but sometimes God works in mysterious ways. At the end of the day, I’m here and it looks like everybody wants to have a piece of that.”
In addition to addressing the viral clip, TID shared that he is working on a new album with his band, Top Band.
“We have reunited with my other brothers and we have a new track called Wali Nazi that is already out as we work on the album,” he revealed.
TID has also warned ArbanTone artists not to remix his songs, as there as there will be legal repercussions. He is currently on a Kenyan tour.
