Naomi Campbell has slammed rumors and clapped back at haters who speculated that her daughter was adopted.
Speaking to British Vogue in a recent interview, Naomi officially revealed the face of her daughter, who was born in May 2021. The announcement was accompanied by a post of her daughter’s tiny feet in the palm of her hand.
“She wasn’t adopted – she’s my child,” she said in the interview.
“I can count on one hand the number of people who knew that I was having her. But she is the biggest blessing I could ever imagine. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done.” added Naomi.
Naomi said she was saving the rest of the details for her book, which she is yet to begin. She has also decided to keep her daughter’s name private.
News of Naomi’s baby came as a surprise to many of her fans. Because the announcement came only weeks after she walked the New York Fashion Week runway.
In the interview, Naomi spoke proudly of her nine-month-old daughter; “She’s a good girl: she sleeps very well, she hardly ever cries and I’m told she’s very alert for her age. She’s just started waving, which is fun. She laughs a lot. She’s almost talking,”
