As Mama Bob, she played a loving but firm mother raising her son, Bob. Her role felt real to many viewers and reminded them of the strength and warmth found in Kenyan families.

Friends and colleagues described Grace as humble, hardworking, and full of passion for her craft. Though she kept her private life quiet, she often guided younger actors and inspired many in the industry.

The cause of her death has not been made public. Still, Grace Mburu’s memory lives on through her work and the joy she brought to Kenyan screens.
