The tumultuous aftermath of sudden unexpected fame left Ntazola Gloria lamenting the harsh realities of public attention. The 25-year-old found fame following a viral parking lot altercation with a City Inspectorate officer. Ntazola candidly regretted the drastic impact fame has on life. Consequently, the attention prompted her to retreat from public view.
“Since that crazy ordeal with the county officer, my life turned upside down. I fancy my privacy. But I just could not walk or do things normally. I felt stalked and invaded. People stalked me at work, forcing me to hide at home.”
She lamented.
The Ugly Aftermath
Ntazola experienced ugly real-life consequences of her new-found fame. She recounted a disturbing encounter at a mall. A woman accused her of being fake and a negative influence on women. The stranger also wished that the city council officer harmed Ntazola during the altercation.
“So today at the mall, a lady walked up to me. And narrated how she thinks am fake and a bad influence to fellow women. The lady also wished that the county officer did me worse (things.)”
She stated.
The online world proved equally challenging. Ntazola faced relentless trolling and criticism. Shockingly, some netizens went as far as calling her ugly with a bleached skin.
“I received so much attention but with time it got out of control. Girls and guys trolled me, called me ugly and that am fake for skin bleaching.”
Ntazola wrote in part.
Frustration and Toll on Mental Health
Despite her confusion and frustration over the negative reactions, Ntazola maintained that she had never attacked or spoken ill of others, emphasizing her friendly disposition.
“Am confused as I do not attack or talk bad about people. I have no friends and spend my time either alone or with my sister.”
Gloria said.
Ntazola’s mental well-being suffered. Her phone number and pictures leaked, prompting her to seek refuge at her sister’s. The invasion of her privacy reached a breaking point, leading her to cut ties with friends and put her life on hold.
“My phone number and pictures leaked. I left my house and sought refuge at my sister’s. I cut communication with friends and my life just stopped. Everything was not well though I tried to act put together on social media.”
She added.

Ntazola’s plight culminated with a decision to step away from social media. She asserted that the retreat is a temporary respite until she gathers the strength to defend herself. Finally, the lass requested unfollowing to whoever deemed her presence unwelcome.
“My heart is heavy and am angry. I shall keep off social media until am bold enough to fight for myself. For the last time, unfollow if you dislike me.”
Ntazola stated.
