The infamous Ndichu twins have finally responded to their viral video.
In a statement released on Tuesday 19th, the brothers have denied being violent. And said that they were only defending themselves.
So according to them, the two women were engaging in a physical confrontation. And that they were defending themselves from attacks.
To be clear, Paul and Eddie got involved in an attempt to neutralize a confrontation between two women and to defend themselves from certain aggressors.
The statement added that the matter has been reported to the police and DCI for further investigation and resolution. Pending this, we request restraint be exercised in potentially and unfairly spreading misinformation that has no factual basis.
If you watched that video, you probably saw one of Ndichu’s trying to vandalize a car while the other was busy strangling a young man.
The two have expressed their regrets claiming that they also do not tolerate any form of gender-based violence.
Paul and Eddie, want to use this medium to express their deepest regrets for the incident that occurred. Wapi Pay is built on, and practices, a culture of respect for employees and customers. And does not tolerate any form of discrimination or encourage any form of gender-based violence
Ndichu’s lose investors
As a result of their behavior, one of their biggest investors have pulled out their investment from their crowned comped dubbed Wapi Pay.
In a straightforward tweet seen on Twitter, Ryosuke Yamawaki said that they have zero tolerance for such conduct. And will therefore relinquish all the rights of their investment stake in Wapi Pay.
In light of the alleged assault on women by the founders of our portfolio company Wapi Pay, we Kepple Africa Ventures hereby announce that we have zero tolerance on such conduct and announce that we will relinquish all the rights of our investment stake in Wapi Pay.
