Nairobi Women’s Hospital College is currently conducting a thorough investigation into an incident involving a female student, Vanessa Ogema, who was witnessed harassing medical staff. And invoking the name of Sports CS Ababu Namwamba at Port Victoria hospital in Busia County.

Vanessa Ogema, identified as a Theatre Technology student at the college, is awaiting graduation.

“It has come to our attention that Vanessa Ogema, a student enrolled in the Theatre Technology program and awaiting graduation, was reported to have caused disruption and harassed medical staff at a hospital in Busia County.

In the undated viral video, Vanessa displayed rowdy behaviour while in the company of a reportedly armed man. In response to these allegations, Nairobi Women’s Hospital College has initiated an internal investigation to gather all pertinent information. The college is committed to enforcing appropriate measures in accordance with its established policies and procedures.

“To address the matter, we have initiated an internal investigation to gather all relevant information and will institute appropriate measures in line with our institution’s policies and procedures,”

The Nairobi Women’s Hospital College said.

In an official statement, the college expressed strong condemnation for Vanessa’s actions, emphasizing that her behavior is not aligned with the institution’s values and standards. Nairobi Women’s Hospital College remains dedicated to fostering compassionate and responsible professionals. The organization is committed to taking corrective actions based on the outcome of the internal investigation.
