Comedian Mulamwah, has confirmed his new relationship with a Ugandan woman named Debby. This comes just weeks after publicly parting ways with his ex-fiancée and baby mama, Ruth K.
He further explained that staying single is not in his nature. “Me ni hotcake, I don’t stay on the shelf. I can’t be single for long,” he said.
Despite the speed of his rebound, the comedian insisted there are no regrets.
“Keep moving. You can stay for five years and still find the wrong person. Life is unfair like that. I will keep searching until I find the right one with zero regrets.”
He also shared advice on choosing partners: “There’s no 100 percent person. You get 60 percent and build the rest. If that doesn’t work, change the person.”
Meeting Debby
While he didn’t go into full detail about how they met, Mulamwah hinted that relationships can begin anywhere. “People meet in the weirdest ways. A man can meet a lady anywhere,” he said.
Mulamwah emphasized he is not a polygamist. “I am not a polygamous man,” he confirmed, noting that his new relationship is moving gradually and intentionally.
Ruth K Break-Up

On April 10, 2025, Mulamwah confirmed via Instagram that he had parted ways with Ruth K, with whom he shares a son, Oyando Junior, also known as Kalamwah.
“YES, it’s TRUE WE HAVE DECIDED TO PART WAYS WITH R.K. It was nice while it lasted,” he wrote.
Their relationship, which began in 2021 and included a romantic proposal on February 17, 2025, had been highly publicised. Ruth K had earlier faced online backlash and was labelled a “husband snatcher” when the two went public.
Mulamwah had first introduced Ruth as his “bestie” soon after break up with estranged babymama Carrol Sonnie. And before confirming their romantic involvement with a Valentine’s Day video in February 2023.
Clearing the Air
Following the breakup, there was speculation that Mulamwah had taken over Ruth K’s social media accounts. He quickly dismissed the rumours.
“Kwani haipostiwi? Si inapostiwa? Hakuna mtu yeyote ameichukua. Facebook iko huko bado, handle zote ziko na zinatumika na yeye,” he clarified.
Mulamwah appears happy and optimistic in his new chapter with Debby. While some have questioned how fast he moved on, the comedian is unbothered.
“Life moves on, and so do I,” he said.
And in true Mulamwah fashion, he left fans with one last cheeky line:
