KNEC DECLARES OSCAR SUDI’s KCSE CERTIFICATE FAKE

Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi has been accused of forging his KCSE certificate.

Sudi has been purporting to have finished high school in 2006 from a school called Highway Secondary School.

But his KCSE certificate contains an index number that belongs to Parklands Secondary School.

Our politicians will show us things! So The Kenya National Examination Council (KNEC) Secretary, Nabiki Kashu told Magistrate Felix Kombo, on Tuesday that Sudi did not register or sit for exams at Highway Secondary School in Nairobi.

As a matter of fact, Highway Sec School was nonexistent in 2006!

Nabiki was testifying in a case where Sudi had been charged with forging a diploma certificate in Business Management claiming it is a genuine document issued to him by the Kenya Institute of Management.

So the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commision had on September 17th, 2015 requested confirmation of Sudi’s candidacy on academic results.

In the letter, we were asked to authenticate whether such a candidate sat his KCSE in the year 2006 at Highway Secondary School in Nairobi in November and awarded certificate serial number 3381074 under index 401006/081.

After thorough checking, it has been six years, they established that the code on Oscar’s certificate did not belong to Highway Sec School. But Parklands Sec School. Also, his index number be linked to Onaje Bob Onyango, who was registered and sat the 2006 KCSE at Parklands.

There is no possibility of two schools sharing a code number during a given examination. Similarly, there is no possibility of two candidates sharing an index number. The purported copy of certificates presented to KNEC for authentication purposes is obtained from a forged document,” said the witness.
