KAMBUA OPENS UP ON MISCARRIAGE AFTER FIVE YEARS CHILDLESS

Kambua has opened up on facing a miscarriage after waiting five years to have a child.

She revealed that she had prayed for five years to conceive, and when she finally got pregnant, she suffered a miscarriage.

“I prayed for five years to get pregnant then had one miscarriage when I did. Motherhood is a great calling, but it is not the only calling, and it set me free because, at the time I was not a mother, I was like, of course, God put me here,” Kambua said.

She also shared that doctors once told her she could never conceive naturally.

However, she went on to conceive all her children without medical help.

“My children were all conceived naturally, and again that was a reminder that God did it,” she said.

The singer spoke about the pain of being called “barren” during her years of waiting, saying she found peace when she realized she was complete even before becoming a mother.

“There was a section of negativity, which is expected, but I found freedom when I realized that even before I became a mother, I was already complete,” she said.

Kambua also remembered her late son, Malachi, who passed away shortly after birth in 2021. In an earlier Instagram post, she paid tribute to him and comforted parents who have faced similar loss.

“Sometimes I don’t feel as brave as I would like to be,” she wrote.

“But I will keep finding the courage to share my journey to honor the life of my precious boy, Malachi.”

Kambua with her husband Jackson Mathu, theu have been married for 12 years.

She ended her message with hope, saying, “Malachi, my sweet boy, I know I will see you again in glory. For now, I will be okay because I know you are safe in the arms of Jesus.”

Kambua’s story is one of faith, courage, and healing through life’s deepest pain.
