Johnson Sakaja
The people aren’t done with you yet.
I told y’all this wouldn’t be the last we see of this whole Sakaja fiasco.
However, I was expecting something like missing funds or something along that line because,
Kenya is what Kenya is.
This people,
Is the story of how Johnson Sakaja incurred the wrath of Kenyans on Twitter.
Allegedly after denying them access to their precious bottle.
Guess you never know what you got till it’s finally gone.
“Spare no mheshimiwa.”
During Uhuru Kenyatta’s speech yesterday,
He announced a ban on alcohol in restaurants and eateries,
A step back from CS Muthahi Kagwe’s announcement that allowed eateries to serve alcoholic beverages.
All this happened barely a week after a visibly drunk Johnson Sakaja was detained by police officers.
KoT reaction to Johnson Sakaja
Kenyans on Twitter went all in on Sakaja last night following this part of Uhuru’s speech:
“When we de-escalated 21 days ago, I said that I would not hesitate to re-escalate again, if reckless behaviour is widespread….there shall be no sale of alcoholic beverages or drinks in eateries and restaurants effective midnight today…..All bars shall remain closed until further notice.” – Uhuru Kenyatta.
With many taking to the site to troll him,
Here are just some of Kenyans reactions on twitter:
What do you think?
Is Johnson Sakaja to blame for the ban?
