Tracy, the young Juja househelp who witnessed her employer allegedly stab his wife, Rose Muthoni to death after returning home late has narrated what she saw. And shared the deceased’s final words.
According to Tracy, the day began normally. Rose had gone to work at 10 a.m., while her husband usually returned home at 11 p.m. On that day, however, he came home unusually early.
Tracy described that he spent the afternoon on the phone and later watched a disturbing movie. He reportedly remarked loudly that people who are bad-hearted should die like the movie’s antagonist.
Later, he called Rose, asking her to return home early because their child was sick. Rose told him she would come late due to weekend commitments. When she arrived, she complained of a bloated stomach and began searching for a knife.
Tracy claims her husband who had it then threw a knife onto the floor.
The situation escalated quickly.
Tracy described the attack: “The next thing I heard were screams, with the woman saying, ‘Auntie, come and help, they’re killing me.’ When I ran to the kitchen, I saw Rose on the floor. He had stabbed her in the heart. I tried to push him away.”
Tracy said Rose pleaded for help as her husband allegedly stabbed her in the heart. Rose’s final words focused on her child: “You should have left me to raise my child. But Auntie, you have really helped me. Please help my child.”
Tracy tried to intervene but was almost attacked herself. She was cut on her hand and dress before escaping.
