Media personalities Grace Ekirapa and her husband Pascal Tokodi on Thursday 21st welcomed a bouncing baby girl.
The birth of their baby comes barely a month after the lovely couple celebrated a Thanksgiving party for the baby.
During the Thanksgiving ceremony, the couple revealed that Grace had suffered a miscarriage in June 2021, something that took a toll on both of them.
“It has been a tough journey…we are here now giving thanks. This is our second try, we lost our first try around June. It was hard…but we are here again and we thank God, with 8 months now…we’re going to 9 months…we are hoping for many more years…said Pascal.
The couple also said that they did not want to have the cliche baby showers. But instead chose to have a family that had walked with them throughout the journey.
“In April we are believing that we will receive our bundle of joy… that’s why we did not want to have a usually baby shower, we wanted a family, especially people who have walked with us in this journey. Said Grace.

On Wednesday, the couple took to their social media pages to announce and celebrate the birth of their child.
The Selina top actor jotted down a moving message to his wife and daughter, promising to love and protect them both.
“Words can’t even describe how I’m feeling right now, I’ve acted as a father before in movies and TV shows, but today hit different, today I held our baby girl in my arms and realized how blessed I am. To my beautiful Grace, watching you become a mother today was one the greatest joys of my life, we made an angel. Honey. I love you from here to Loiyangalani to Malakisi and back.” He wrote in part.
Pascal and his daughter whose initials are AJ will be sharing a birthday: To my little princess , I’m proud of many things in my life, but today, holding you in my arms, holding your tiny finger, being your father, Sharing a birthday with you…. will forever top the list, I will always be here for you, I will love you and protect you with everything I have, always and Forever AJ.
Grace on the other hand thanked God for the gift of her baby as a birthday gift for Pascal.
Today you welcome your princess into the world because she is the gift God decided to give you for your birthday and I am honored to have had the privilege of carrying her for us❤️❤️❤️Happy Birthday My Love and Happy Born day to Baby AJ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I love you two soo much.
