‘GO PATO’ SINGER SET TO TOUR KENYA

Reggae artist Pato Banton, is set to tour the country, performing at various cities in June. The tour is expected to be weeklong with stops in Nairobi, Mombasa, Diani, Nakuru, Eldoret and Kisumu.

The Grammy-nominated artist, famous for his hit song ‘Go Pato’ made the announcement on his Facebook page revealing that he will be landing in Kenya after his tour in Burundi.

Taking to his Facebook page, Pato wrote:

We are happy to announce that we are flying to Nairobi in June for the Go Pato ~ Kenya Tour 2023.

Between June 23rd – July 9th we are planning to visit Nairobi, Mombasa, Diani Beach, Nairobi, Nakuru, Eldoret, and hopefully Kisumu too!

He concluded: I’m excited to meet all the fans who have asked me to come and perform in Kenya and I’m excited to learn more about the culture and meet some of the amazing artists and DJs who have been communicating with me over the last 12 months. God is Good! All the time! ❤️

Go Pato tour

Pato is set to perform in Burundi from June 20th to June 22nd, before flying to Nairobi the next day. He will perform in Nairobi on June 24th, then head to the coastal city of Mombasa, for a show at Diani beach on June 26th.

Banton will then return to Nairobi the following day for another concert at the Nairobi Community Outreach on June 28th. Afterwards, he will perform in Nakuru on June 29th, Eldoret on June 30th, and Kisumu on July 1st, before returning to Nairobi on July 2 and flying out of the country to France the following day.

This isn’t the first time the reggae artist has been in Kenya, in August of 2022, Banton was in the country, specifically Kitui, accompanied by his wife, Antoinette “Rootsdawtah” Hall and a film crew, the 60-year-old performer was in the country shooting an upcoming documentary called “Ubuntu” celebrating the bonds among communities across Africa.
