Former KTN sports anchor and CGTN presenter Robert Soi is dead. His family confirmed the news on Wednesday afternoon.
Robert had been admitted to Nairobi Hospital on May 20th where he underwent surgery.
The media personality is reported to have been involved in an accident months ago. And sustained serious head injuries.
He spent a week in a coma at the Intensive Care Unit before his demise.
The journalist had been working at Standard Group before moving to China Global Television Network. (CGTN)
Soi has been survived by his wife Catherine Soi who is a journalist at Aljazeera and their two children.
Kenyans have expressed their sorrow and taken to social media to condole with his family.
