Nigerian music producer and Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy, 42, has admitted that he can not be sexually committed to one woman and probably will not get married. This revelation comes after past drama, including radio personality Kerry Martin’s claim that his ex Claudia Naisabwa of cheating with Don Jazzy.
“I do not believe I am strong enough to be with only one person,” he said.
“I won’t be dating you and telling you that you are the only person.”
Don Jazzy explained that being attracted to one woman does not stop him from admiring others.
“Some people have the strength to be sexually committed once they are attracted to somebody. But the fact that you’re a beautiful lady doesn’t stop me from admiring another woman,” he said.
He added that he prefers honesty, even if it means people will not want to be with him.
“People will run away from me being truthful,” he said. “But I won’t lie to anyone to keep them.”
Don Jazzy Previous Marriage
This is not the first time he’s spoken about relationships.
In April 2021, Don Jazzy revealed that he was once married. At 20, he married Michelle Jackson, a UK-based model and writer. The marriage lasted two years before ending in divorce.
He said the marriage failed because he gave all his time to music and neglected his family.
“I spoilt it because I was giving all my time to the music,” he said.
Don Jazzy says he knows his views may not be popular, but he will not pretend to be someone he is not.
For now, he is focused on music, and staying non-monogamous.
