DCI has recently announced that the mastermind of the malicious harassment of a female motorist by boda riders has been unmasked.
In a thread seen on the DCI’s official Twitter page, the suspect was unmasked after undercover agents drawn from the elite Crime Research & Intelligence Bureau (CRIB) and DCI Nairobi Regional Headquarters, narrowed down on him.
The prime suspect identified as Zachariah Nyaora Obadia was unmasked using digital forensics.
The private detectives working with cybercrime experts at the DCI National Forensic Laboratory, placed the criminal at the scene of the crime scientifically. And went after him this afternoon deep in Mukuru Kaiyaba informal settlement.
The suspect who is aware of the ongoing crackdown on ludicrous boda boda riders escaped the DCI narrowly. He is reported to have fled via a sewer duct in the densely populated settlement.
Zechariah has also been firmly identified by his wife and other relatives in his rural home, sexually assaulting the victim in the viral videotape.
The DCI has sternly warned the lunatic not to engage detectives in chasing games. But to surrender at DCI headquarters or the nearest Police station within 24 hours. Also, his associates who were within the area of the diabolic attack whether captured on the videoclip or not, have all been identified scientifically. They have all been ordered to submit themselves at DCI headquarters before detectives catch up with them.
