Veteran TV anchor Catherine Kasavuli has thanked Kenyans for their overwhelming support in donating blood for her after her cancer battle announcement.
News of Catherine’s health status was made public on November 7th when Kenyans were implored to show up and donate blood for her.

In a statement released today, Catherine expressed her gratitude to everyone who showed up to support her.
Also, Kasavuli revealed that the previous month had been tough for her following a cervical cancer diagnosis.
“Last one month has been crazy for me, I want to take this moment and appreciate my family, colleagues in the media industry, the Catherine Kasavuli Foundation team, my doctors, friends, strangers, and online community; I wish I could respond to all your messages, I see them and I am really humbled. May God remember you,” she wrote.
She went on to thank the kind-hearted people who donated blood for her as well as those helping with medical bills.
“To special people that have come forth to donate blood may God bless you, may he enrich your beautiful souls, may He meet with the desires of your heart. To special souls that are contributing towards my medical bill, I love you so much and God bless you” she added.
