Musician and podcaster Ben Cyco and his wife, Wanjiru Njiru, ushered in Mother’s Day 2024 with the exciting announcement of their pregnancy.
Ben Cyco shared his joy on social media with a heartfelt message to his wife: “See what the Lord has done. Happy Mother’s Day my wife @wanjiru_njiru.”
Similarly, Wanjiru Njiru expressed her gratitude and faith in a touching message to her followers: “Life update. God has been so good to us. Happy Mother’s Day.”
Earlier Loss
The couple, known for their popular podcast ‘Joyride,’ celebrated this announcement as a moment of healing following a painful loss. In December 2023, they revealed the heartbreaking news of their miscarriage.
An emotional Ben Cyco shared, “We were so excited about expecting a baby, but after 2 months, we lost the baby. That was a huge blow to our marriage, but God’s grace is sufficient…but that was a tough season.” However, they found strength in each other during this challenging time.”
“That was so heavy on us, and we had no energy left for a live experience,” Ben admitted.
“This season has been especially tough for you (Wanjiru), and I’ve been praying for grace and trying to support you in the best way possible.”
Despite their heartache, the couple remained hopeful.
“God restores, and in the right time, we’re going to have a little Joyrider,” Ben declared.
Their journey has been met with warm wishes and support from friends, fans, and family as they embark on this beautiful journey.
