Pictures of Arimis jelly’s new look have been doing rounds on social media for about four days.

A Kenyan designer on Twitter identified as Nanzia revealed that she had undertaken to re-brand the look of Arimis.

I did the unthinkable, I decided to rebrand your favorite brand as a slightly premium product. This is a passion project, I hope you like it. She wrote in part sharing pictures of the new look.

So the new look, Arimis is portrayed to have a navy blue and mustard yellow color theme. And the cow is missing from the look!

The images spread on social media like a bushfire triggering Arimis’ loyal customers.

Clearly, a lot of customers were disappointed wondering why a brand such as Arimis would want to have a sophisticated look.

Others complained that the new package looks like some hair products.

Taking to its official Facebook page, Arimis have refuted claims that it is re-branding its look.

We are not re-branding. To all our esteemed customers and users of our products, we’re not re-branding, the circulating brand is just someone’s suggestion. We stick to our initial brands! Otherwise enjoy the greatness of your skincare. The company said.
